Which Video Sharing Site Should I Use? Youtube Vs. Vimeo

By Tim Donovan

YouTube and Vimeo are arguably the two most popular networks for video sharing, each with their own set of pros and cons. From social networks to forums like Quora, a common question among users is, “What’s the difference and which one should I choose?”

At Figmints, we actually use both! Our Vimeo account is managed by our Director of Photography, who prefers the interface and streaming quality. I also felt that keeping our YouTube channel current was necessary for helping our client stories get discovered. This strategy works for us, but it may not work for everyone. For those who want to focus on one, we created this helpful infographic to compare the two.
